Prof. P.M Abraham was a man of faith. Being a Holy Bible Scholar and Preacher, he believed that 'it is more blessed to give than to receive.' (Acts 20:35). His family counts him as the best blessing they received from God. This scholarship is a humble offering to God Almighty to thank Him for all the blessings his family received. By supporting ICON Charities' efforts to help the less fortunate get education, the scholarship helps to fulfil his vision to encourage education in the community.

Prof. P.M. Abraham Memorial Award

Prof. P.M. Abraham Memorial Award is part of ICON Excellence Award (IEA). It is an yearly educational assistance program for smart students who are from financially disadvantaged families. It is a partial financial assistance to continue and complete their current course.

Late Prof. P. M Abraham Catholicate College, Pathanamthitta, Kerala. Prof. P.M Abraham retired from the Dept. of English, Catholicate College, Pathanamthitta after 32 years of service. He served as the Head of the Dept of English at K.G.College Pampady and Baselios College, Kottayam. His passion was his family and the people around him. He believed that it was his duty to support and encourage education. He was a role model and first teacher for his daughters. He encouraged them to be independent and did everything to give them the best education. He strongly supported education in the local community and provided financial assistance to educate the less privileged.
